Ryan Ruzziconi received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and his law degree from Marquette University Law School. After law school, Ryan served as Assistant General Counsel for Kolbe & Koble Millwork Company. Ryan oversaw the company’s legal issues in the United States and Internationally. Ryan negotiated a deal that established the first China based distributor of Kolbe products.
For close to a decade, Ryan Ruzziconi served as Vice-President and General Counsel for Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, one of the largest specialty pharmacies in the US. Ryan was the first lawyer at Diplomat Pharmacy and built three departments for the company – Legal, Human Resources, and Compliance. During his time at Diplomat Pharmacy the company grew from revenues of roughly $200 Million to $5 Billion per year in 2016, including dramatic employee growth to over 5000+ employees in 2016. Over that period Ryan also led the acquisition of nine (9) companies with a combined value of over $500 Million.
Most notable during this period was Ryan Ruzziconi leading the IPO effort and legal negotiations to have Diplomat Pharmacy listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:DPLO) as a publicly traded company in 2014. The IPO encompassed over 15 million shares and $200 million dollars in value. In March of 2015, Ryan oversaw Diplomat Pharmacy’s Follow-On Offering of company stock with a value over $284 million dollars.
In late 2024, Ryan Ruzziconi was named the President of Aspiro, Inc. Aspiro is one of the largest disability service providers in northeast Wisconsin. In 2025, Ryan directed a $21M capital campaign – hitting the goal in six months – to renovate Aspiro’s Dousman facility. Ryan has been an advocate at the State Capital, discussing and negotiating state funding for individuals with disabilities and the organisations that serve them.
In 2012, Ryan Ruzziconi was named as the Top General Counsel in Michigan by Crain’s Business Magazine. In 2015, 2017, and 2019, Ryan was named a top 50 corporate counsels in Michigan by Detroit Business Magazine. Ryan has appeared in publications and news broadcasts, including Detroit Business Magazine, Crain’s Business Magazine, CNBC, and Fox Business. Ryan is a frequent speaker at universities on various health care and business law topics.
In 2024, the Brown County Executive Board appointed Ryan Ruzziconi to the Brown County Children with Disabilities Education Board which oversees Syble Hopp School. Ryan served as a Trustee, Attorney, and Board Member for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
