Bogdan Pleșuvescu is Deputy CEO and Chief Legal Officer of Banca Transilvania, Romania’s largest bank, where he oversees the Group’s legal function and coordinates a broad portfolio of subsidiaries and strategic businesses.
He has extensive experience in banking, corporate law, M&A, restructuring and complex cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Banca Transilvania, he served as CEO of Victoriabank in the Republic of Moldova, where he led the bank through a period of significant transformation and growth.
In his current role, he combines legal leadership with strategic and executive responsibilities, contributing to major M&A transactions, business integration and the development of the BT Financial Group.
He is also a lecturer in law and is actively involved in advancing the role of the modern General Counsel as a strategic partner to the business.
