I work as General Counsel supporting an international logistics business, operating at the intersection of legal risk, commercial decision-making, and operational execution.
Over the years, I have learned that legal departments create the most value not by simply identifying risks, but by helping organisations understand them, prioritise them, and act on them in a commercially sensible way.
My focus lies on translating legal complexity into decisions that business leaders can actually use – especially in fast-moving, cross-border and operational environments.
This includes commercial contracting, compliance frameworks, data protection, and M&A-related support, always with a strong emphasis on practicality and implementation rather than theoretical perfection.
I see the role of in-house legal teams as business enablers: not slowing decisions down, but making them more robust, transparent, and executable.
Based in Germany. Working across jurisdictions. Always focused on making legal work in the real world, not just on paper.

– Managing external counsel efficiently and cost-consciously.
