GC Elite Leader Romania 2026
I am passionate about law and energy, but I try not to be a “typical” lawyer because I strongly believe we should do more with what we are best at.
I see my role as shaping decisions that leave a meaningful and lasting legacy for people, for the business and for the societies we touch.
My leadership journey spans public, private and civic sectors, as an energy lawyer with global experience across complex M&A, regulatory and transformation projects with a strong focus on culture, integrity and innovation, so that legal is not a brake, but a real accelerator for the business.
I have been included for several years in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist and recognised by Chambers as part of the GC Global Market Leaders 2026, as well as General Counsel of the Year EMEA 2025 by WiBL.
Beyond being an energy lawyer, I am deeply interested in legal innovation and technology and I actively explore alternative models and tools that will shape the future of law and the in‑house profession.
I like to think of myself as an energetic leader both because I work in the energy sector and because I bring energy to teams and projects.
I dream of the day when it will be “cool” to know the Constitution and fundamental rights. I am the author of the first children’s book that playfully explains the Romanian Constitution through images and games -“What is the Constitution? Play and find out!” and I am passionate about helping children understand their rights so they can grow up in a truly “good society”, using constitutional literacy programs implemented in primary schools.
Above all, I am a strong believer in communities and high-performing teams and in the power of humour in leadership, because we can do serious things without taking ourselves too seriously.
After all, even in law and energy, a good sense of humour can be the most sustainable source of energy we have.
