I am General Counsel at Insight Investment (BNY Investments), where I lead a global legal team supporting an international business. I work closely with the CEO, Board and executive leadership on strategic priorities and transactions, and I am currently leading a reset of the legal function as the business moves into its next phase of growth.
A consistent theme in my career has been working in environments that are changing, whether that has meant rebuilding teams, reshaping how they operate, or aligning them more closely with the needs of the business.
My experience spans asset management, banking and financial regulation, including roles at the Financial Services Authority and the Bank of England. I have advised through periods of significant market stress, including the global financial crisis and the 2022 gilt market disruption. Those experiences have shaped how I think about judgement, governance and decision-making under pressure.
Earlier in my career, I worked in technology and strategic consultancy, advising businesses on international growth and market entry. That experience continues to influence how I approach legal leadership today.
