Lead legal support for strategic carbon capture, energy transition and industrial infrastructure projects across Benelux, with additional support for Nordic countries and other European jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Advise senior business leaders on complex cross-border infrastructure projects, joint ventures and long-term commercial agreements.
• Lead negotiations and provide strategic legal guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Appointed as Global Legal AI Lead to drive responsible AI adoption across the Group Legal function.
• Develop AI governance principles, prompt libraries, legal AI training programmes and best practices supporting scalable legal service delivery.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for legal process optimisation, knowledge management and AI-enabled workflows.
• Support digital transformation initiatives balancing innovation, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal operations through governance, process standardisation, knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
