Christian Reinert is General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Global VP Governance at RAUMEDIC, a leading group of medical and pharmaceutical device producers and Subgroup of REHAU Group. In 2022, Christian was entrusted with the office of General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of RAUMEDIC Inc. for the US-markets, and he holds active management positions in several Group companies worldwide including Estonia. He was promoted Global Vice President Governance in July 2025 combining responsibility for Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, ICS, Data Privacy, Information Security and IP for RAUMEDIC Group.
A lawyer by training and practice, Christian focuses on all aspects of commercial law, corporate law and compliance in multinational organisations, areas he is seen a specialist in. Following specific studies on university and practice in the UAE and Canada, Christian combines his expertise in German and Austrian law with profound knowledge of Eastern European and Common Law.
Having started his career with a reputable law firm in Abu Dhabi he joined the bar in Munich 2004 as partner in an international law boutique with offices in Berlin, New York and Munich.
Later as Executive Director of the Austrian Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons and the Austrian Veterinary Pension Funds Christian took successful initiatives to defend the monopole in animal healthcare against unregulated health professions by decision of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Austria, but also to abolish the restrictions in foreign ownership in healthcare professions as finally decided by the European Court of Justice.
Prior to joining RAUMEDIC Christian was Group General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Wellster Healthtech Group operating MYSPRING, GOSPRING, MYSUMMER, GOEASY, GOLIGHTER, Germany’s leading integrated healthcare platform with operations in Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands, after having served as General Counsel & Director HR Europe at Titan Machinery Inc. (NASDAQ: TITN), at the world’s largest agricultural and construction equipment dealer with approximately 4,000 employees worldwide and over 100 locations in the US, Europe and Australia.
During his career Christian has served as General Counsel, Head of Compliance & HR for public and private corporations worldwide, gaining particular expertise in healthcare and medical device production, trade, industry and financial services. He has also written and spoken on various issues and is an active member of several national and international organisations.
