I joined BRD in 2002 as a junior lawyer and never left. That is unusual enough these days that I should probably explain it: the bank kept changing faster than I could get comfortable, and I was there when retail lending and syndicated finance were being built in this market rather than inherited.
Since 2020 I have led the legal function as Executive Director, running a department of up to 80 people across regulatory, competition, litigation, employment and governance work, and translating between Romanian banking regulation and Société Générale group standards.
I also serve as Secretary General of ACJSFB, the association of legal counsel in the Romanian banking and financial sector.
