I began my legal career as a litigation lawyer immediately after graduating from law school, joining a highly regarded Romanian law firm where I developed strong advocacy, dispute resolution and legal advisory skills.
After several years in private practice, I transitioned into an in-house legal role within the litigation department of a global utilities company, a move that broadened my commercial perspective and deepened my understanding of business operations.
Over the years, I continued to expand my expertise through a series of increasingly senior legal positions. These roles allowed me to develop extensive experience in supporting business growth, managing legal risk, and providing strategic legal advice across complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
Upon joining my current company, I started as Legal Counsel, overseeing legal activities across three business divisions, Paper, Packaging, and Recycling, in Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece. I subsequently advanced to the role of Senior Legal Counsel expanding my responsibility to support the same three divisions across eight countries. In this capacity, I partner closely with business leaders on a wide range of strategic, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters, helping drive business objectives while ensuring effective legal risk management across a diverse regional portfolio.
