With over 26 years of comprehensive experience in the corporate legal sector, I am a seasoned legal executive with a strong track record spanning private practice and in-house counsel roles. My career is characterised by dedication to strategic legal leadership, compliance, and fostering ethical business practices.

Currently serving as General Counsel at IMKAN Misr, I report directly to the CEO and Group CLO, where I oversee all legal functions and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives. Prior to this, I held the position of Regional Legal Director for Agthia Egypt Group (an ADQ subsidiary), managing legal affairs across Egypt and the Levant region, including Jordan and KSA. My responsibilities encompassed legal advisory, contract review, litigation management, corporate governance, and organisational culture initiatives.

My previous roles include Legal & Compliance Director at Lafarge Egypt, where I led legal and compliance functions for the group across multiple countries, and Senior Legal Counsel at Majid Al Futtaim Properties Egypt, focusing on corporate and property law within the retail sector. I also have extensive experience from CEMEX Egypt, Baker & McKenzie Cairo Office, and Zaki Hashem & Partners, where I gained foundational expertise in intellectual property, corporate law, arbitration, and client relationship management.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to aligning legal strategies with business goals, ensuring legal compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. My goal is to continue leading dynamic legal teams that contribute meaningfully to organisational success, uphold high standards of integrity, and promote social responsibility.
