Acting Director Legal for Samsung SDI Europe GmbH (since 2016) – with a focus on commercial contracting and negotiation lead to secure automotive business wins together with the relevant deal teams. Further, lead lawyer to European Procurement, Warranty, Product Liability and IP related matters.
Prior to this role, had a pivotal role as Counsel in Bird & Bird’s Automotive Practice Group (2014-2016).
Prior to that, served in various European General Counsel or General Counsel roles (1999-2014) for various automotive suppliers or manufacturing company, and also Managing Director roles for companies like ArvinMeritor, Inc./Meritor, Inc., Emcon Technologies, LLC, Johnson Controls, Inc./Varta Autobatterie GmbH & Co KGaA, Vaillant Group, ZeunaStärker GmbH & Co. KG.
Prior to those corporate roles, started as audit assistant (1998-1999), specialised in tax and corporate law with a German medium sized auditing company (now part of BDO).
