General Counsel/Registrar General
NCC-DRC, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Nigeria
I help businesses and institutions across Africa resolve disputes, strengthen governance, and build systems that work.
As Registrar General of the Nigerian Chambers of Commerce Dispute Resolution Centre, I lead initiatives that make ADR more accessible, effective, and impactful for Nigerian and African businesses. My work sits at a unique intersection: Islamic law, commercial arbitration, and access-to-justice transformation.
Over 15 years, I’ve moved from grassroots legal aid (serving underserved communities with the Legal Aid Council) to institutional leadership – always driven by the belief that effective dispute resolution is essential for economic growth and social peace.
My expertise spans arbitration, mediation, commercial advisory, and institutional development. As a certified Islamic arbitrator and FCIArb Fellow, I bring specialised knowledge to faith-based ADR alongside contemporary commercial practice. I’m particularly passionate about training the next generation of ADR practitioners and advocating for women’s leadership in legal practice.
Whether you’re building dispute resolution systems, seeking ADR expertise, or interested in collaboration on access-to-justice initiatives – I’d love to connect.
