Corporate, governance and regulatory specialist. I am the General Counsel for Mourant Governance Services with responsibility for the in-house legal team providing support across our global jurisdictions.
I am also the Chair of Mourant’s global Friends, Family & Carers network which focuses on inclusion issues and supporting colleagues to effectively balance family and/or caring responsibilities with their careers.
Whilst in private practice in the City and Jersey, I worked closely with a number of private equity firms to support the entire life cycle of an investment, as well as working with local and multinational companies on cross-border transactions, particularly in the financial services industry. I also provided advice to local banks and financial services firms in relation to ongoing compliance, outsourcing and restructuring, as well as having experience in the payments sector. I have also been seconded to major UK and international banks, as well as technology companies.
I am a member of the IoD Jersey and have significant experience as a director acting for a number of charities both in London and Jersey, most notably as a founding director for Jersey Bulls Football Club and as the current Interim Chair for Jersey Opera House.
