Marina is a Tax Legal Manager with over a decade of legal experience, including ten years specialising in tax, and more than eight years in-house at BAT. She currently advises on both tax consulting and litigation matters, with regional responsibilities supporting the Latam South business.

Her experience spans complex tax matters, strategic business projects, tax litigation, international transactions and regulatory developments across Brazil and the region. As a trusted business partner to Finance and senior leadership, Marina works at the intersection of legal, tax and business strategy, helping the business navigate complex issues while enabling sustainable growth and new opportunities.

Her expertise includes direct and indirect taxation, tax planning, transfer pricing, tax litigation, international transactions and emerging business models. Marina is particularly passionate about connecting legal and tax strategy with business objectives, fostering collaboration across functions and geographies, and translating complex regulatory challenges into practical, forward-looking solutions.
