I am a senior executive with over 20 years of experience across banking, consumer finance, payments and fintech, combining executive leadership with expertise in corporate governance, business strategy, M&A, transformation and regulatory affairs.
Currently serving as Deputy CEO of Token Payment Services, part of Koç Group, I contribute to the company’s strategic direction, business growth, organisational development and European expansion within a highly regulated financial services environment.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with Boards of Directors, executive management teams, regulators and shareholders on strategic decision-making, governance, regulatory matters and complex business transformations.
Having served as Secretary General to the Boards of Directors at Orange Money and HeyBlu, alongside my executive legal and compliance responsibilities, I have gained extensive first-hand experience in board governance, decision-making processes and regulatory oversight.
Previously, as Legal and Compliance Director at HeyBlu, I played a leading role in the acquisition and integration of Orange Money, including the EMI licensing process, business transfer and consolidation of activities into a single regulated entity. I coordinated legal, regulatory, governance and compliance workstreams, working closely with the National Bank of Romania and key stakeholders.
Earlier in my career, I contributed to the development and regulatory authorisation of Orange Money’s financial services business. My leadership experience at Garanti Bank and Alpha Bank, together with previous roles at Raiffeisen Bank and BCR, provided a strong foundation across banking, lending, financial products and regulatory governance.
I bring a combination of executive leadership, strategic perspective and deep regulatory expertise, with a particular interest in corporate governance, sustainable growth and the oversight of financial services businesses operating in complex regulatory environments.
