I’m a Legal Director working at the intersection of complex risk data, financial regulation, AI and technology. After 17 years in law, including time at Lloyds Banking Group and Expedia, I joined Climate X because the legal questions here are genuinely new and exciting.

• What does compliance look like when the regulatory landscape is still being written?
• How do you build legal frameworks for an AI-native global resilience platform, helping our clients understand risk across infrastructure, supply chains, utilities, and extreme weather all at once?
• Who owns the risk? When AI-generated data informs infrastructure decisions, how do we define liability across the chain from model to market?

Legal at Climate X works on solutions to these challenges every day, with a focus on data governance, technology law, commercial contracts, and the increasingly demanding global regulatory environment; no two days are ever the same.

I’m particularly interested in how regulation is evolving around data and AI, and how legal teams can be a genuine enabler for commercial growth, rather than just a compliance function.
