Thomas Pousette is General Counsel of Perpetua Medical AB, a Stockholm-listed serial acquirer of
profitable healthcare companies. A Swedish-qualified lawyer (advokat 1997–2010) with an additional
LLM from King’s College London, he brings almost three decades of legal experience spanning private
practice, in-house roles, and international environments.
Thomas spent 16 years, as associate and partner, at DLA Nordic (now DLA Piper), focussing on
corporate law, commercial contracts, and M&A. He subsequently served as General Counsel and
Board Secretary of RaySearch Laboratories, guiding the medtech software company from start-up to
stock exchange listing and negotiating complex software licensing and R&D collaboration agreements.
His sector expertise lies primarily in life sciences, complemented by significant M&A and transactional
work also in the real estate sector. Thomas serves on the board of Leader Mälardalen, an EU-funded
association promoting rural and local development. He is fluent in Swedish, English, and Spanish.
