I am a General Counsel with a focus on cross-border corporate structuring, capital markets readiness, and governance in complex business environments.
My experience spans Taiwan and multi-jurisdictional operations, including prior roles covering Greater China and offshore structures such as Cayman and BVI. I have supported businesses through different stages of growth – from operational scaling to capital market preparation – where legal considerations are closely tied to strategic and structural decisions.
At dentsu Taiwan, I lead the legal function and partner with senior management on regulatory strategy, corporate governance, and enterprise risk. My role involves aligning legal frameworks with commercial priorities, particularly in areas where business expansion, regulatory requirements, and operational realities intersect.
Previously at Taikoo Motors (subsidiary of Swire Group), as Head of Risk Management, I was responsible not only for legal matters but also for insurance, EHS, and credit control. This role required an integrated approach to risk, combining legal judgment with operational oversight and governance discipline.
Earlier in my career at RMC (Rock Mobile), I supported multi-jurisdictional corporate structuring across Taiwan, China, Cayman, and BVI, and was involved in capital markets-related work as the business explored IPO readiness. This experience shaped my understanding of how legal structuring, ownership design, and regulatory positioning interact in capital market contexts.
In addition to legal leadership roles, I have also held business management responsibilities as General Manager in the music industry, overseeing P&L, artist management, production, and distribution across Taiwan and China. Managing both creative and commercial functions has provided a broader perspective on how legal strategy must adapt to business realities.
My work is centreed on navigating structural constraints – where regulatory frameworks, capital structures, and business objectives do not naturally align – and translating them into workable, defensible solutions at the executive level.
